If you've followed Alice for a while, you'll know that our staff has had experience building and managing technology at several NASDAQ-listed companies, including big-name eCommerce and FinTech leaders. As a result, all of our technology decisions have been made with Security and Privacy as core principles. From Encryption at-Rest and in-Transit, to our decision to collect only what information we need to provide service and nothing more, we have prioritized the most effective choices to protect our customers and their data.

And we are now formalizing our Security Programs and establishing our position with quickly-recognizable certifications.

Right now, the Alice team is working to achieve SOC2 Type II, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance.

We believe that this combination of frameworks will give customers certifiable assurance that we at Alice:

1. Have robust security controls across our organization,
2. Care deeply about the integrity of your critically sensitive data, and
3. Give you the freedom and control over your data.

Yes, we do keep in mind that Compliance isn't exactly the same as Security - but what SOC2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR give you is certifiable proof that we perform the duties that we are advertising to you.

That proof is made transparent to our customers through trust.aliceapp.ai.

There, you'll be able to see what controls have been implemented in our environment. It will be constantly updated as we add more protection for you and your data. This isn't just a website that we built - it's managed by the leading compliance platform, which checks our systems on a regular basis - testing our controls and keeping us honest.

When the time comes for a more formal security review, we'll be able to provide you with certifications from our external auditor.

In the coming months, as we hit major milestones in this process, we'll provide major updates through the Trust Portal.
